DETAILS:
Sergeant Deng was born on November 1, 1971. He was appointed to the Los Angeles Police Department on March 15, 1999. Sergeant Deng was last assigned to West Los Angeles Area. On June 23, 2025, Sergeant Deng was struck and killed by the driver of a vehicle while he was assisting at the scene of a vehicle crash.

MEDIA:
At the family’s request, only one media camera will be allowed during the service. Fox 11 will be providing the feed, which will be available on The Switch LA Pool 3.

All media, with the exception of the designated pool camera, are asked to park in the lot adjacent to the Forest Lawn reception area.

The family will not be providing interviews.
