WHAT: An opportunity for the media to have a close up view of the armored vehicles used to end a pursuit on April 10th

WHERE: Metropolitan Division, first floor of the parking garage 251 East 6th Street Los Angeles, California 90014

WHO: Metropolitan Division Commanding Officer, Captain Edward Prokop Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) personnel

WHY: On Friday, April 9, 2015, Metropolitan officers were part of a coordinated effort to end a lengthy pursuit of an armed and dangerous suspect. Today the Metropolitan Commanding Officer will discuss the use of armored vehicles in pursuit situations. The vehicles which were used in the pursuit will also be available for the media to view.
