On July 23, 2010, a Caltrans worker discovered Beasely’s body in a river near Rio Vista Avenue and Olympic Boulevard.  His death has been ruled undetermined.

Los Angeles:   Fifty-six-year-old Loyd Beasley has been missing for 12 days, and his family and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) are asking for the public’s help to find him.

On Sunday, July 4, 2010, at around 7:30 p.m., Beasley was last seen near his vehicle at the corner of
70th Street and Vermont Street.  A witness reported seeing his car the next day, but neither of them have been seen since.  Beasley is homeless and had been living in his car described as a 1993 GMC Sports Utility Vehicle.

Beasley is described as a male Black with black and gray hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing about 140 pounds.
