Motorcycle Collision Leaves One Person Dead

Los Angeles: A Saturday night traffic collision in the San Fernando Valley claimed the life of a motorcyclist whose identity is being held pending notification of his family.

On May 5, 2007, around 9:00 p.m., the man, driving a green 2002 Kawasaki RS-Ninja motorcycle was riding southbound on San Fernando Road past Desmond Street, in Pacoima. A gray 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo heading north on San Fernando Road was negotiating a left turn into a gas station when the motorcycle collided with the car. The motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the motorcycle was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet and three passengers were not injured.
