Officers from Central Division and the Central City Police Boosters are sponsoring a motorcycle ride and Chili Cook-Off to benefit the Los Angeles Central Area youth and crime prevention programs.

This is a tax-deductible event that includes a 35-mile turnaround scenic motorcycle ride which begins and ends at the LAPD Academy in Elysian Park. The ride makes stops at the Glendale Harley Davidson dealership and the Hollywood Bowl. This year’s ride is dedicated to KLOS radio celebrity Al Ramirez, who was a LAPD Volunteer and Booster Board Director.

The event includes food, live entertainment, celebrities, prizes, vendors for bike enthusiasts and static displays.
