Los Angeles: Get your motor running! Head on down the highway! Looking for adventure! The Central City Police Boosters are sponsoring a motorcycle ride to benefit the Los Angeles Central Area youth and crime prevention programs. The tax deductible event includes a police escorted scenic ride with stops at a local Harley Davidson dealership and other Los Angeles locations.
The first 500 registered riders will receive a commemorative event pin and a route of the charity ride will be provided to all riders. During the ride, the scheduled stops will hold prize drawings and provide local entertainment The cost of the ride is $35.00 for a single rider and $50.00 for a rider with passenger. Non riders (lunch only) are welcome to the celebration for a cost of $10.00. Participants are encouraged to register in advance and waivers for riders and passengers must be signed at the start of the event to participate.
Arriving at the ride terminus, a return to Elysian Park, riders will enjoy an included picnic lunch with live entertainment, celebrities, prizes, silent auction, and static displays.
