"Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Collision"

Los Angeles: On Thursday, August 17, 2000, at approximately 7:00pm, a motorcyclist was southbound on Alvarado Street near Scott Street. A vehicle, exiting private property and negotiating a left turn to northbound Alvarado Street, collided with the motorcyclist. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene of the collision, called 911, and waited for police and emergency services personnel to arrive.

The motorcyclist died as a result of his injuries while en route to the hospital. He has been identified as Patrick Dean Thomas, a 32-year-old resident of San Francisco.
