Yesterday, suspect Antwuan Giddens was taken into custody by a multi-agency taskforce in the city of Inglewood.  His bail remains at $2 million, and he has been charged with attempted murder. Detectives are still seeking information on the location of suspect Ashlee Beidleman who remains outstanding.

Los Angeles:  LAPD Wilshire Area Detective Division is investigating the shooting of two people from the 1500 block of South La Cienega Boulevard. A male and female have been identified as suspects in a multi-victim shooting that has left one victim in serious condition, with multiple gunshot wounds.

On January 2, 2012, around 10:25 a.m., two victims were seated in a small passenger vehicle when the two suspects exited a nearby business in the 1500 block of South La Cienega Boulevard, walked over to the victims and engaged in a brief conversation.  The male suspect pulled out a handgun and began firing rounds into the vehicle, striking both occupants.  The motive remains unknown for the shooting at this time, but investigators believe the suspect may be acquainted with one or both of the victims.

The suspects have been identified as Antwuan Marquis Giddens, an African–American male, 26 years of age and Ashlee Noel Beidleman, an African-American female, 25 years old.  Both are residents of Los Angeles and left the scene on foot.

Because two suspects are still outstanding, the identities of the victims are being withheld at this time.

An arrest warrant has been filed with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for Attempt Murder against Antwuan Giddens and his bail is set at $2,000,000.00.  An arrest warrant for Ashlee Beidleman as an Accessory to a Crime been obtained and her bail is $30,000.00.  Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
