Murder in Rampart Area NR25218jc

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division, Central Bureau Section detectives are investigating a shooting that left one person dead.

On March 27, 2025 around 6:12 p.m., Rampart Division patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting on West 2nd Street and Emerald Street. When officers arrived, they located the victim (that was later identified as 30-year-old Edwin Mora) suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital but despite the efforts of medical staff, Edwin Mora succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The suspect has been identified as Isaac Davila, DOB: 02/27/2004, a 21-year-old male acquaintance of the victim. Davila was last seen fleeing the scene on foot. He was wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, gray shorts, and gray Nike shoes.
