Murder Investigation

Los Angeles – On Monday, February 12, 2001, at 1:25 a.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an "ADW/ Shots Fired, Just Occurred" in the 12700 block of Encinitas Avenue, in Sylmar. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers discovered the body of a male White, deceased inside a room at the Motel Six. The victim died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his next-of-kin.
The investigation revealed the shooting was narcotics related and the suspect(s) is/are outstanding.
