Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department, Wilshire Homicide Unit is investigating the murder of Chung Lee, a 26 year-old male Korean, exchange student.
On Saturday, January 29, 2005, at about 1:55 a.m., Lee was standing in the parking lot at 2717 W. Olympic Blvd. An argument began between Lee and two male Asians. Lee was then attacked and stabbed to death. Both suspects fled the location in two separate vehicles described as a 2003-2005 black Sport Utility Vehicle and a 2000-2004 dark colored sedan.
After an extensive investigation two male Asians involved in the murder were identified. In the early morning hours of February 8, 2005, arrest and search warrants were served on two different locations in the County of Los Angeles and the following individuals were arrested:

Suspect #1: Tran, Kia, Male Asian, 24 years old, a resident of West Covina

Suspect #2: Tran, Hoan, Male Asian, 21 years old, a resident of West Covina
DDA filed 187 PC. BKG# 8450940
Suspect #3: Nguyen, Ky, Male Asian, 22 years old, a resident of El Monte
DDA filed 32 PC (accessory to ADW). BKG# 8450949
