Murder Suspect Arrested NR22061dm

Wilmington: On January 30, 2022, around 7:50 a.m., LAPD Harbor Area officers responded to the 1800 block of East “I” Street in the City of Wilmington. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, later identified as 36-year-old David Ulloa, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.

During their investigation, LAPD South Bureau Homicide detectives identified 32-year-old Francisco Real, a resident of Long Beach, as the individual believed to be responsible for the murder of Ulloa.

On Thursday, March 3, 2022, homicide detectives met with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and presented the case for filing. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed one count of 187(a) PC (Murder) against Francisco Real and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On Monday, March 7, 2022, the Pullman Police Department, along with members of the Whitman County SWAT team, located and arrested Francisco Real inside an apartment complex in Pullman, Washington.

Francisco Real will be arraigned in Los Angeles County Court pending extradition from the State of Washington.
