Murder Suspect Being Sought

Los Angeles: Northeast detectives are investigating the murder of Margie Mendoza, a 26-year-old female Filipino, mother of three. Ms. Mendoza was shot to death on November 9, 2001, while seated in a vehicle driven by her boyfriend. The crime occurred in the 3100 block of Hollydale Drive in the Atwater community of Los Angeles. One suspect, identified as Eduardo Rodriguez, a local gang member, has been arrested and is being held at the Los Angeles County Jail with a bail set at one million dollars.
The second suspect, identified as Timothy McGhee, also a gang member, is currently outstanding and being sought by our Department. A warrant charging Timothy McGhee for murder has been issued. Timothy McGhee should be considered "Armed and Dangerous." Northeast detectives are soliciting the assistance from the public in locating Timothy McGhee.
