Murder Suspect Caught

Los Angeles: On September 19, 2003, at about 10:00 p.m., a shooting occurred in the Dodger Stadium parking lot that resulted in the death of 24 year-old Marc Antenorcruz. During the subsequent investigation, 19 year-old Pete Marron of South Gate was identified as the suspect in the murder.
On December 2, 2003, at about 4:00 p.m., members of the Los Angeles Police Department and officers from several other law enforcement agencies were acting on a tip and began a surveillance of a residence in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Officers observed Marron leaving the location in a vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Pete Marron was arrested for the murder of Antenorcruz without incident.
Additional details of the arrest of Marron will be discussed during the press conference. Representatives from Council Member Reyes’ office, Dodger Stadium, and the Los Angeles Police Department will be in attendance.
