Murder Suspects Revealed

What: A Press Conference Requesting the Public’s Assistance in Locating Two Murder Suspects
When: Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at 11:00 a.m.
Where: Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Area Community Station, 6240 Sylmar Avenue

Los Angeles: On April 8, 2003, at approximately 12:51 a.m., Van Nuys Area patrol officers responded to a radio call regarding a passing motorist that had found a dead body in the 7300 block of Woodman Avenue. Patrol Officers found John Dannenberg, a 36-year-old resident of the Van Nuys area, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Paramedics responded and pronounced Dannenberg dead at the scene. No motive for the shooting has been established and no witnesses to the crime have been found.
On May 13, 2003, LAPD Van Nuys Area Homicide Detectives will announce the identity of two males suspected of killing John Dannenberg. At the press conference, detectives will also present photos of the two murder suspects, and the family members of victim Dannenberg will also be available to the media.
