"National Night Out" Schedule of Department And Community Sponsored Events
 
Los Angeles: On Tuesday, August 7th, community members throughout Los Angeles are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide, for the "18th Annual National Night Out" crime and drug prevention event. "National Night Out," which is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and co-sponsored locally by the Los Angeles Police Department, will involve over 9,600 communities from all 50 states and around the world. Overall, 32 million people are expected to participate in "America’s National Night Out Against Crime."

West Bureau

Valley Bureau

Devonshire Area: 7:30 PM, Basic Car 17A83 will be hosting a potluck dinner at the Eton Mobile Home Park, located at 8901 Eton Avenue, Canoga Park. Southwest Area: "Stop the Violence March" from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. After walking through a heavily gang infested neighborhood, the 3.5 mile march will terminate at Cienega Elementary school, located at 2611 South Orange Drive.
