Newton Division Seeks Information in Shooting of Four Victims

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division, Violent Crime detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the persons responsible for the shooting of four male victims.

On April 1, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., Newton Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 4700 block of South Broadway. When officers arrived, they found four male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded, provided medical treatment at the scene before transporting all the victims to a local hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

Three armed suspects were seen chasing a victim. When they failed to catch him, they opened fire on additional victims standing outside a liquor store.

The suspects are described as three male Blacks. No additional information is currently available.
