Today around 4:40 p.m., Michael Greene was arrested in the 21700 block of Hart Avenue in Canoga Park. He surrendered to authorities without incident. The two children were also located with the suspect and are safe with authorities. Michael Green was arrested and booked for Attempt Murder and Child Endangerment.
Los Angeles: LAPD North Hollywood Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing information that would lead to the arrest of a shooting suspect. The suspect may have also taken the victim’s two children.
On March 19, 2012 at 4:50 a.m., LAPD North Hollywood patrol officers responded to a radio call regarding an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon” at the Sportsmen’s Lodge at 12800 block of Ventura Boulevard. When the officers arrived, they discovered a female suffering from an upper torso gunshot wound. LAFD Rescue personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where she is currently in stable condition.
During the investigation it was discovered that a man named Michael Green, a 27-year-old African American, was identified as the suspect in the shooting. It is believed that the suspect fled with his two children, six-month-old male Zyler Green and a year and a half old female Maaliyah Green. At this time the children are considered endangered and missing. They are being sought by the Los Angeles Police Department.
