North Hollywood Homicide Detectives Seeks Public Assistance to Capture Murderer

North Hollywood Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the person responsible for the murder of 31 year old Rogers Davis of Lake View Terrace. Davis was shot and killed on Thursday, January 21, 1999, during an apparent drug deal.

Davis’ killer is 23 year old Richard Perry Davons of Los Angeles. He is described as a male, black, with black short hair, and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. Davons uses the moniker of "Scooby". Davons is currently on parole, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
