Why:
Officers from Northeast Division are pulling together to assist a fellow officer who has been deployed to Iraq since January 3,2007.

Richard and Charlott have seven young children between the ages of 2 and 7. Although Charlotte has been maintaining a strong disposition in Ricardo’s absence, she had mentioned to some of Richard’s fellow officers about the day to day struggles she is facing.

Richard’s Northeast family found out that Richard and Charlotte’s fixer upper home was in dire need of repairs.

Upon learning this, Northeast officers immediately went to work to help this fellow officer’s family who is serving his country in the battlefields of Iraq.

With the assistance of the Los Angeles Memorial Foundation, they raised sufficient funds to purchase the necessary items and begin this worthy project.

On Wednesday, Northeast officers will begin their work on the home. Northeast officers goal is for Richard to take care himself as they take care of Richard’s family until his safe return home.
