Why: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division is currently conducting a shoe drive for many deserving families in the community. Olympic division is accepting brand new shoes for “Operation Shoes from Santa.” This endeavor will culminate with a celebratory Winter-Wonderland event.

Santa and his elf will be on hand, children will be able to play in real snow, create a variety of Christmas crafts, and be treated to Santa cookies and hot chocolate. Join Olympic area police officers as they distribute new shoes to over 1,500 underprivileged school-aged children.

LAPD Olympic Division and Vans invites you to join community partners, Valdo Footwear, Home Depot, Guess, Rydell Chevrolet, MagicSnow, and other private entities, in donating generously to this worthwhile cause.
