Los Angeles: Two men were shot in an apparent gang related shooting Sunday, leaving one of them dead.
On July 1, 2007, at about 12:30 a.m. the two men were leaving a party in the 16000 block of Los Alimos Street when they came under fire by an unknown assailant. The suspect fired multiple rounds striking each victim numerous times. Both victims were transported to a local hospital in separate, private vehicles.
Eric Perez 31, a resident of Arleta, was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at the hospital. The second victim, a 25-year-old resident of Sylmar, was treated for his injuries and later released.
There is no suspect description at this time.
