“West Bureau Homicide announces three arrests made in a group fight that resulted in murder.”
Investigators identified a suspect vehicle and tracked the vehicle to an address in Echo Park.
On January 15, 2022, Olympic Officers and West Bureau Homicide served a search warrant arresting two of the men responsible for beating the second victim. They were booked for Attempt Murder.
On January 16, 2022, early in the afternoon, the first suspect responsible for stabbing and killing the first victim surrendered himself to West Bureau Homicide.

Koreatown: The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating a group fight in Koreatown that resulted in a homicide and a second man hospitalized.
On Saturday, January 15, 2022, around 2 a.m., Olympic patrol officers responded to a radio call of a “Stabbing”, at 6th Street and Alexandria in Koreatown. Officers arrived and found the victim stabbed. A dispute occurred, resulting in a fight. The victim tried to break up a fight when an unidentified male Hispanic, dark clothing, stabbed the victim. After the stabbing two additional suspects hit and kicked the victim’s companion causing injury. The suspects left the location.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. A second victim was also injured and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
