WHY:
The Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force conducted a proactive investigation, Operation Online Guardian, during the weeks of August 12th through August 23rd, 2024. The operation was executed throughout five counties in Southern California, which involved 102 affiliate law enforcement agencies. The purpose of the news conference is to highlight the arrests made during Operation Online Guardian and to provide educational Internet safety resources for the community.
