WHY: The Los Angeles Police Department Operations-South Bureau is hosting a series of Town Hall Meeting to address incidents of violent crime in our community. South Bureau has reached out to Community Leaders, Leadership Groups and Grassroots Organizations and compiled the following topics for discussion: Human Trafficking/Internet crimes against children, Domestic Violence, Gang Violence/Gang Communities, Gun Violence, Family Violence and Police/Community Relationships.

This event is Part One in the series and will focus on Human Trafficking and Internet Crimes against Children. The goal of the Town Hall Series is to educate the community on alternatives to violence and to glean advice, concerns and recommendations on deterring crime, public safety, and community policing.
