April 23, 2015 NR15131SF UPDATE Two Additional Suspects Taken Into Custody for the Murder of 27-Year-Old Justin Aguilar On April 22, 2015, a second suspect, 37-year-old Antwaun Morrison was taken into custody and arrested for murder. A third suspect remains in the hospital as a result of gunshot wounds sustained during the shooting of Mr. Aguilar. A judge has issued an arrest warrant for the third suspect. UPDATE

Updated: On April 17, 2015 LAPD, Gang Narcotics Division located the vehicle seen driving away from the Woodbine Park shooting.
After hours of investigation, a suspect was booked for murder and attempt murders.
The suspect was identified as 35-year-old James Pickens of Inglewood. He was booked for Murder on April 17, 2015 at 11:46 p.m. and is being held on $1 million bail.
The case will be presented to the District Attorney on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 for filing consideration.
This is an ongoing investigation.

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting of four victims and the murder of 27 year-old Justin Aguilar.
On Thursday, April 16, 2015, around 3 p.m., officers from the Pacific Area responded to numerous calls of shots fired at Woodbine Park, located in the10300 block of Woodbine Street. When the officers arrived, they found three males with multiple gunshot wounds near the park.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Mr. Aguilar dead at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition. The third victim was also hospitalized in stable condition.
The suspect was described as a male Hispanic driving a white SUV.
Approximately 20 minutes later, a second shooting occurred at Overland Avenue and National Boulevard. Responding officers located two males with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
The suspect was described as a male Hispanic driving a tan sedan.
At this time the two shootings have not been linked. The investigation is ongoing and the motive is potentially gang related.
