A six-foot four-inch, 320-pound undercover officer dressed as Paul Revere will be crossing the intersections, at one of the most dangerous intersections in the Valley. Motorists who fail to yield for pedestrians will be cited. Drivers operating their motor vehicles without possessing a valid driver’s license may be arrested and their vehicles impounded.
This enforcement activity is part of our heightened summer vacation pedestrian safety and traffic awareness plan. The last enforcement sting resulted in over 100 citations written for pedestrian crosswalk violations.
