Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects responsible for an armed robbery that occurred at the United Pawn Brokers #3 located at 5857 South Vermont Avenue in the City of Los Angeles.
On May 28, 2003 at 1:40 p.m., three young male suspects entered the pawnshop posing as customers. The suspects suddenly brandished handguns and forced the owner, his employee, and an elderly female customer to the ground. The suspects took over $30,000.00 in jewelry and cash and left in a Black 1990-1995 Nissan Maxima 4 door.
All suspects were armed with blue steel revolvers and are described as follows:
Suspect-1: male, Black, 18 years-old, 5’10", black hair, brown eyes, medium build, dark complexion
Suspect-2: male, Black, 20 years-old, 6’01", black hair, brown eyes, 160 lbs., dark complexion
Suspect-3: male, Black, 20 years-old, 5’11", black hair, brown eyes, 160 lbs., dark complexion
No arrests have been made at this time.
