Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver NR12527LG

Los Angeles:  Yesterday, at around 5:44 p.m., a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of 11th Street and Elden Avenue.  A dark, small vehicle, possibly a Mitsubishi or Honda, was traveling east on 11th Street, struck a pedestrian and fled the scene.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to find a 62-year-old Hispanic female lying in the street.  She sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment where she was pronounced dead.  

The investigation is continuing and West Traffic Detectives are searching for witnesses who may have seen the collision.
