Police and Family Seeking Assistance Locating a Missing Person

Los Angeles: The mother of Alissa Sologubova (adult missing person) and the Los Angeles Police Department requests the public’s assistance in locating the above missing person. Missing person (MP) Alissa Sologubova was last seen on January 19, 2000 at approximately 9:30 PM. She was last seen on the 100 block of Catamaran Street in Marina Del Rey. MP’s boyfriend left their residence and when he returned approximately one hour later, MP was gone. She gave no indication of where she was going, and has not been seen or heard from since.

MP is from Russia, and came to Los Angeles two years ago to study. Since she was reported missing MP has not contacted any relatives. MP was not employed nor did she own or drive a vehicle. Her mother is currently here from Russia for the sole purpose of finding her daughter.

MP is described as a Female Caucasian, with light brown hair, green eyes, 5’10, 100 lbs. (thin build) and 20 years old. She was last seen wearing white sweat pants, a gray T-shirt and sandals. MP’s physical and mental health are described as good. MP speaks English with a heavy Russian accent.
