Police, City Officials, and Community Leaders Peace March Against Violence

WHAT: The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Operations-Central Bureau and Hollenbeck Community Police Station are partnering with Councilman Gil Cedillo, Mayor’s GRYD Office and Community Leaders and Clergy.

WHEN: Saturday, February 24, 2018 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

WHO: Councilman Gil Cedillo, Los Angeles City Councilman, Council District 1 Mayor’s Gang Reduction Youth Development Office LAPD Deputy Chief Robert Arcos, Commanding Officer, Operations Central Bureau LAPD Commander Howard Leslie, Assistant Commanding Officer, Operations Central Bureau LAPD Commander Dominic Choi, Assistant Commanding Officer, Operations Central Bureau LAPD Captain III Al Labrada, Commanding Officer, Hollenbeck Area LAPD Captain I Katie Burns, Assistant Commanding Officer, Devonshire Area LAPD Hollenbeck Senior Lead Officers Community Leaders & Clergy

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Department, Councilman Gil Cedillo, Mayor’s GRYD Office, Community Leaders and Clergy invite the community to stop by the LA Boys & Girls Club for a Peace March against Violence. The march will start at the LA Boys & Girls Club, proceed through the Lincoln Heights area, and return back to the Club. Following the march will be free food, raffles a basketball tournament and community resources and booths.

It is our goal to continue to engage the members of the community, develop partnerships and cooperation to showcase that the L.A.P.D. as a stakeholder in the Hollenbeck community.
