Police seeking a residential robbery suspect NR09372gb

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department, Pacific Division Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect who robbed a 90 year-old victim inside her residence.

On Monday, July 27, 2009, at about 4:00 p.m., a male Hispanic knocked on the front door of the victim’s residence in the 8000 block of Chase Avenue and identified himself as a UPS driver with a delivery.   When the victim opened the door, the suspect forced his way into her residence and demanded money. During the incident, he kicked and choked the victim before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 22-23 years old, black hair, brown eyes, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 180 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a tan shirt, brown pants and brown work boots.
