Protest and March in West LA

 UCLA parking lot, northeast corner of Veteran Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard
    
Why:   
There will be a National Day of Protest demonstration and march.  The event organizer (Answer LA Coalition) has named the protest "Let GAZA Live."

In the event that an Unlawful Assembly declaration occurs during the march, the incident commander will re-designate an appropriate media viewing area.

The permit is from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., however the event organizers have indicated that the march will begin between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m..  The march will proceed east on Wilshire Boulevard, north or Gayley Avenue, east on Le Conte Avenue, south on Westwood Boulevard and westbound on Wilshire Boulevard, returning to the Federal Building.

LAPD Public Information Officers will be wearing a blue vest with the letters "LAPD PIO.”  Should there be any changes the City News Service (CNS) will be contacted and given the information.  Media personnel are encouraged to monitor the CNS for any updates.
