Los Angeles: Since March 3, 2001, two male Hispanic suspects have committed a series of robberies in the Los Angeles County area. Thirty "fast food restaurant" robberies have been committed in the City of Los Angeles, by the same two individuals. Approximately twenty other robberies, in surrounding cities, may have been committed by this same pair. To date, the Fast Food Bandits are responsible for a total of 50-armed robberies.
Other cities affected by the Fast Food Bandits are the Cities of Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Burbank, Monrovia, West Hollywood, and Glendale. The suspects are mobile and have been active in both the east and west sides of Los Angeles, specifically during the week of May 6th through May 13th. The suspects were armed in each incident and are considered extremely dangerous. There are several surveillance photos available that depict the actions of these bandits. As of this date the Los Angeles Police Department has been unable to identify the suspects and are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying these two suspects.
