Los Angeles: On Friday, April 27, 2001, at approximately 3:30 p.m., ten year old Jose Manuel Cuellar was last seen at Lockwood Elementary School, 4345 Lockwood Avenue, Los Angeles. Cuellar is described as a male Hispanic, brown hair, brown eyes, 4’7" and 80 pounds. Cuellar is at risk because of his age. The subject was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt, blue pants with his back pack. When Cuellar’s step-father arrived at the school to pick him up, Cuellar turned and ran for unknown reasons. After an extensive search, Cuellar was unable to be located on the school grounds.
The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in locating Jose Cuellar. Northeast Community Police Station will have recent photos available of the subject and available to answer media questions.
Any information regarding the whereabouts of the minor should be forwarded to Northeast Juvenile Detectives Morris, Ankele, and Carreon at 213-485-6575.
