WHAT: A Press Conference Requesting the Public’s Assistance in Identifying A Rape Suspect

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at approximately 2:20 a.m., a Burglary/Rape occurred at a single-family residence located near 62nd Street and Vermont Avenue.
The suspect entered through an unlocked window of the residence and confronted the female victim at knifepoint, while she slept in her bed. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim and ransacked her residence before he fled on a bicycle with the victim’s property.
The suspect is described as a male Black, bald head, 5’5", 140-150 lbs., with a small frame, possibly 20 years of age. There is no composite available at this time.
The LAPD Robbery Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these suspects.
