Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA)
Representatives and personnel from the Hollenbeck Area, Barrio Action, LA Voice, Legacy LA, Resident Advisory Council, Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD)
WHY:
This event was made possible by the generous donations of “A Foundation for Kids,” and “A Better LA.” “A foundation for Kids” is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds and support agencies that assist children and families in Southern California. “A Better LA” is an organization that partners with inner city community members to reduce violence, change lives, and create a healthy and safe environment for the community, with the assistance of volunteers and donations. LAPD along with HACLA and community stake holders will distribute the donations to the residents in Ramona Gardens.
