Residential Burglary Suspect Arrested NR23778rc

December 10, 2023

Granada Hills & Porter Ranch: Los Angeles Police Department Devonshire Area Detectives are announcing the arrest of a residential burglary suspect.

Since January 2023, two to three suspects entered the victims’ rear yard and forced entry into the victims’ residences, while another suspect remained in the getaway vehicle. At times there was a second vehicle acting as a lookout. The suspects removed the victims’ property, generally targeting jewelry, purses, watches, and money. Devonshire detectives identified and arrested 21-year-old Bobby Bolton in several of these burglaries.

Detectives followed investigative leads and connected Bolton to several residential burglaries in the Granada Hills and Porter Ranch area that have occurred since January 2023.

On November 12, 2023, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed the case for a warrant. On December 7, 2023, at 11:00 p.m., Bolton was arrested. Bolton was booked for residential burglary, Booking No. 6722875. His bail is set at $1,000,000.

Bolton’s Photograph

The presence of surveillance video was instrumental in piecing these crimes together and helped to solidify the criminal case filings for Bolton. We are releasing the suspects photograph because we believe he is responsible for additional burglaries. This investigation is still ongoing.
