Reward Offered in Double Murder Case

WHY:    The City of Los Angeles is offering a reward of $75,000 for information leading to the identity, arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for the murders of Alejandro Garcia and Carlos Hernandez.

On March 13, 2009, at around 3:25 p.m., officers found Garcia and Hernandez with multiple gunshot wounds in the 6100 block of N. Figueroa Street.  Both victims’ were transported to a local hospital and were pronounced dead.  No suspects have been identified in this case and it appears this incident was the result of gang violence.
