Los Angeles: On Sunday, March 28, 2004, at about 3:40 a.m., patrol officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, Hollywood Division, responded to a Shots Fired radio call in the area of Western Avenue and Oakwood Avenue.
When the officers arrived they found a 28 year-old male victim who had been shot. Paramedics from the Los Angeles City Fire Department transported the victim to Queen of Angels/Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. The victim who was later identified as Terrance Monroe Williams Jr. and a resident of Los Angles, died a short time latter at the hospital as a result of his wound.
The suspects were described as three male Blacks, in the range of 20 to 30 years of age.
The preliminary motive for this homicide appears to be a robbery.
Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department, Hollywood Area Homicide Section, are investigating this crime.
