Robbery-Homicide Suspects Arrested NR19307ml

Los Angeles: On September 21, 2019 at approximately 10:40 p.m., West Valley Division Officers responded to a homicide at 18200 block Sugarman Street in Tarzana.

The murder was the result of an armed robbery which led to the murder of Jean Carlos De La Rosa, 24-years-old. Robbery-Homicide Division (RHD) Robbery Special Section Detectives assumed investigative responsibility for the case.

Detectives investigation revealed the following suspects were involved and are now in custody for a variety of charges to include robbery and murder:

1.Allen Asenuga, 24-years-old, from Houston, Texas 2.Michael Agboola, 28-years-old, from Houston, Texas On Tuesday November 12th, the case was presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration. The following charges were filed: 1.Allen Asenuga – (1) count 187 PC/Murder, (2) counts 211 PC/Robbery, No bail. 2.Michael Agboola – (1) count 187 PC/Murder, (2) counts 211 PC/Robbery, $1,150,000 bail.

The case is still an active and ongoing investigation to determine if any additional crimes were committed. Robbery-Homicide Division detectives have requested images of the suspects not be shared with the public. Release of the images would potentially impede the investigation.
