Robbery Possible Motive in 45-Year Old Man’s Murder

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at 1:00 a.m., Newton Area Detectives are investigating the murder of Willie Brown Junior, a 45 year-old male Black. The victim was standing at the corner of 60th Street and Broadway when an unknown number of suspects approached the victim and shot him several times.
The victim was transported by the Los Angeles City Fire Department to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The motive for this crime is possibly related to a robbery. There is no further information on the suspect(s) at this time.
