WHY:
To assist Northeast and Hollenbeck robbery detectives in their investigation of a series of robberies at various fast food restaurants in the areas of Highland Park, Lincoln Heights and Cypress Park.

Between Dec. 9, 2011 and Jan. 7 of this year, a number of robberies have occurred at fast food restaurants during which a lone gunman threatens employees with a handgun and demands money from the cash register.  He then escapes with the money on foot.

The suspect is described as a 24- to 27-year-old male Hispanic who stands about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 135 pounds.  He has dark-colored hair and eyes and wears a dark-colored hoodie-type sweater with dark, baggy pants.
