Robbery Suspects Captured on Surveillance Video NR18116ti

Venice: The Los Angeles Police
Department’s Pacific Area, Robbery Detectives are seeking the
public’s help identifying robbery suspects whose images were caught
on surveillance video.

On April 3, 2018, around 4:40 p.m., the victim was walking
northbound near the 2500 block of Walnut Avenue. Suspects 1 and 2
approached the victim and asked for the time. When victim showed
suspect-1 the time on her phone, suspect-1 reached out and grabbed
the phone from the victim and a struggle ensued. Eventually
suspect-1 overpowered the victim and obtained the phone. Both
suspects ran away with victim’s phone and were seen entering a grey
sedan that had suspects 3, 4, and 5 seated inside.

Suspect-1 is described as a
male Hispanic, medium height, medium build. He was wearing a black
baseball cap, blue and grey hoodie, dark pants with a “Iron Maiden”
shirt.

Suspect-2 is described as a
male Hispanic, medium height, medium build, with black hair. He was
wearing a black jacket, grey shirt, and blue jeans.

Suspect-3 is described as a
male Hispanic, medium height, medium build, with black hair. He was
wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.

Suspect-4 is described as a
male Hispanic, medium height, medium build, with a moustache. He
was wearing grey hoodie and red pants.

Suspect-5 is described as a
male Black, medium height, medium build, with black hair. He was
wearing a red shirt and black pants.

The suspects’ vehicle is a late model Nissan sedan, grey in color,
hubcaps missing on right passenger side, collision damage on right
front panel, tinted windows, and unknown license plate.
