Santa in the Crosswalk for Pedestrian Safety

San Fernando Valley: The Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Traffic Division’s Community Traffic Services Unit will be conducting a Crosswalk Enforcement Detail at the intersection of Woodman Avenue and Parthenia Street.
An officer, dressed as Santa Claus, will be crossing this intersection, the most dangerous intersection in the Valley. Motorists who fail to yield for the pedestrians will be cited. Drivers operating their motor vehicles without possessing a valid driver’s license may be arrested and their vehicles impounded.
This enforcement activity is part of the Los Angeles Police Department’s heightened Holiday Traffic Awareness Plan.
