Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Sexually Exploited
Child Unit (SECU), Juvenile Division, has released a booking photo
of arrestee Ronnie Roman. Roman was last working at Cahuenga and
Charles H. Kim Elementary school. In the past, Roman has been
employed at Selma Avenue Elementary, Magnolia Elementary, Vine
Street Elementary and Alexandria Elementary. Detectives are seeking
information regarding any additional victims.

The SECU has been involved in an investigation involving Ronnie
Roman, a Youth Service’s school coach for the LA’s Best after
school program at Cahuenga Elementary School, in the city of Los
Angeles. The SECU detectives assumed investigative responsibility
on September 10, 2014, after a female student disclosed that Roman
inappropriately touched her on several occasions. During the
investigation, seven additional female students disclosed that
Roman had also inappropriately touched them.
The investigation culminated with the arrest of Roman on May 13,
2015, and his bail was set at $1,700,000. The Los Angeles District
Attorney’s Office has filed eight counts of lewd and lascivious
acts on a child.
