"Shooting Ends In Fatality"
Los Angeles: Southeast Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that led to the death of 18 year-old Anthony Spencer.
On Monday, March 3, 2003, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Anthony Spencer was standing on the sidewalk in the 700 Block of East 108th Street, when unknown suspect(s) shot him, striking him in the upper torso. The victim collapsed at the scene as a result of his wounds. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital. Anthony Spencer was later pronounced dead during emergency surgery.
The motive is unknown at this time. The suspect(s) and weapon remain outstanding.
