Shooting Kills 41-Year-Old Man NR22163ti

North Hills: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for the murder of 41-year-old Armando Ruano of Los Angeles.

On June 6, 2022, around 5:20 p.m., Devonshire patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting near the intersection of Haskell Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard.

Upon arrival, they discovered a male Hispanic seated inside a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, suffering from gunshot wounds. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to render aid; however, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Investigation revealed the suspect, driving a black Dodge Charger pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle as they were driving south on Haskell Avenue approaching Roscoe Boulevard. The suspect then fired several times at the victim and fled west on Roscoe Boulevard after the shooting.
