Shooting Leaves One Man Dead – NR23167mc

Van Nuys: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations- Valley Bureau Homicide are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in a shooting that left one man dead.

On June 21, 2023, around 5:10 a.m., Van Nuys area patrol officers responded to the 7000 block of Peach Avenue for a radio call of a shooting. When the officers arrived, they discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The victim’s name is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

Witnesses described the suspect as a male wearing dark clothing. He fled the scene on foot.
