"UPDATE: Shooting Outside Of A Nightclub Leaves Two Wounded, One Critical"

Los Angeles: On Sunday, February 1, 2004, at around 2:40 a.m., Hollywood Division patrol officers responded to a "shots fired" radio call in the 1600 block of Schrader Boulevard.
When the officers arrived to Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard, they found a twenty-five year old male suffering from a gun shot wound. As the officers continued their investigation, a second male was found in a parking lot just south of Sunset Boulevard. That victim, a thirty-one year old male, was also suffering from numerous gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported them to separate local hospitals.
Evidence found at the scene led detectives to believe that a running gun battle broke out between two groups of people outside of a closing nightclub. It appears that the twenty-five year old was a bystander and that the thirty-one year old was the intended target of the shooting. Although many patrons where in the area at the time of the incident, very few have come forward with information.
The suspects were described as four male Blacks, ranging in ages from 25 to 27 years old. They were seen leaving the area in a possible Chevrolet Camaro. The color and year of the car are still unknown.
To date, the twenty-five year old is reported to be in stable condition, and the thirty-one year old is listed in critical condition. The incident appears to be gang related but the motive remains unknown.
